This post is part of the series “30-day trial: Authority–I am the boss of me”. Go to: Day 10 | Day 12
Tasks for Day #11 (November 3, 2009)
Chosen Tasks:
#1) Read a post from someone else’s blog or website and provide them with feedback.
#2) Read two chapter from Glickman’s Master Cleanse book.
#3) Practice yogi breathing at least five different times throughout the day.
Randomly selected article: Weight Watchers and the Raw Food Diet–due to be posted on Wednesday November 4th.
Listen to Goal Setting CD
Random Strategy From Personal Development for Smart People: #53 Valor-I need to identify the item on my task list that scares me the most and muster up all the courage I have to tackle it immediately.
Comments: None of the tasks on my list are all that scary. Hmmmm. Am I going too easy on myself???? As the day progresses, I am sure some scary stuff will present itself and now that I have my strategy in mind, I will not be able to escape it. I would look pretty weird practicing yogi breathing in some public situations.
Day 11 Results
I enjoyed reading the posts from one of my Steve Pavlina Consciousness Growth Workshop friends and I finally sent her a message. I had been meaning to connect with Taz for a while now and it feels good to have done so. My Australian friend has a wonderful blog that addresses domestic violence and she also shares some of her other more recent growth experiences. Just last month, Taz was commissioned as a guest speaker at a domestic violence police officer liaison training course.
It was so exciting reading from Glickman’s book today. I listened to his CD yesterday and of course completed the Master Cleanse myself in September. The repetition of concepts is great. It feels like I am leaving on vacation soon. Tomorrow is day zero of the Master Cleanse. I am taking the day off of work and will be enjoying a wonderful Moroccan vegan dinner in the evening with the vegetarian meet up group. My last meal! Then I will come home and have my smooth move tea…and the next day the salt-water flush. Then bring on the lemonade for the next 10 plus days!
I have practiced yogi breathing numerous times already today and plan to continue the habit. It really clears the nasal passages. Of course I already enjoy wonderful sinus health because I eat mostly raw food diet and I do a nasal flush everyday.
I left work early today so that I could take my time and enjoy a hot shower before listening to my goal getter hypnosis CD. Once again I found it refreshing. Yes–I did the deep sleep and lucid dreaming hypnosis CD last night and had the same experience of not being as happy to do it at night. I would have rather spent the time sleeping and not waking up after the CD was complete.
As expected, I did not work on my Weight Watcher’s at the Raw Food diet article today, however I did attend my Weight Watchers meeting today, which reinforces some of the content that will be included in the article.
