Random Strategy From Personal Development for Smart People: #21–Prizes–I need to give myself frequent rewards for achievement.
Giving myself prizes for my achievements is a perfect way to end this 30 day trial! This is especially the case given that I have three article to post today! After getting my house cleaned yesterday, I want to be more cognizant of what my habits are that lead me into the world of mess and interrupt them with habits that serve me better. Today will not be a lazy Sunday afternoon. I would like to end this trial on a high note and reward myself for a job well-done.
Day 30 results
Ok–I did push myself to work on the remaining three articles and provided myself with rewards through out the day such as going to Whole Foods at noon after I got a lot of raking and writing done and listening podcasts on raw foods. I am calling it a night right now and I have by raw food article almost done and my review of the conscious growth workshop is almost done as well. I have a bit more work to do on my article about my experiences with my first Master Cleanse. I do not like ending this 30-day trial by failing to post the articles on time and do not want to make excuses now. So I will just leave it at that and will get them posted in the near future. The boss of me says to get them posted before the write up on this 30-day trial is due on Friday.
I did a pretty good job of cleaning up my messes real time today. Of course the real test will be over the next several days of living and beyond.
It was a beautiful day today and I got a lot of raking done. I just want to get it to the point where there is no thick covering of leafs when the snow starts to cover the ground. I am almost there.
My goal setting CD session today was great! I was not feeling too well when I got back from Whole Foods due to all the free samples I allowed myself to have. They really offered a full meal of samples due to Thanksgiving coming up this week. I had samples of some of their vegetarian Thanksgiving dishes that did not look too bad, but they were very heavy. Once again, this is motivation to avoid cooked foods when I do not know how they are prepared. When I eat cooked food, I prefer it to be simple and clean, such as lightly boiled vegetables or brown rice. Anyways, I felt much better after my hypnosis session and the words really got to me. I sprung right into action afterward and listened to some of my audio diary of my experience with the Steve Pavlina Conscious Growth Workshop and then proceeded to write much of my review.
Well this is the end of my daily updates, but I will be posting the three remaining articles to my website this week and posting a final review of my experience by Friday.
